Yogurt with Spinach (Palak Raita)

Palak raita is a light, plain yogurt with pureed spinach and mild spices. Serve as a side.

 1 cup plain yogurt - whipped only (do not thin)
 4 oz fresh or frozen spinach
 ¼ tsp salt, or to taste
 ¼ tsp roasted cumin (zeera) powder

Microwave fresh or frozen spinach in a covered bowl for 2 to 3 minutesand let it cool down. Grind to a fine paste, in a blender or food processor.

Mix all the above ingredients, cover and refrigerate till ready to serve.
