Kheera and lal pyaz raita is a mildly spiced, fresh cucumber and red onion yogurt. Serve as a side.

 1 cup plain yogurt - whipped and thinned with milk or water as needed
 ½ cup cucumber - with or without skin, cut into small pieces or grated
 ¼ cup red onion - peeled and chopped
 ¼ tsp salt, or to taste
 ¼ tsp roasted cumin (zeera) powder
 ¼ tsp ground yellow mustard (sarson) seeds, or ground small black mustard (rai) seeds

Mix all the above ingredients, cover and refrigerate till ready to serve.
