Spinach Yogurt (Raita)

This Palak Raita features plain yogurt with spinach and spices.

 1 cup plain yogurt - whipped only (do not thin)
 4 oz fresh or frozen spinach
 ¼ tsp salt, or to taste
  tsp red chile powder (lal mirch)
 ¼ tsp roasted cumin powder (zeera)

Microwave fresh or frozen spinach in a covered bowl for 2 to 3 minutesand let it cool down. Grind to a fine paste, in a blender or food processor.

Mix all the above ingredients, cover and refrigerate till ready to serve.
